| The company FRAGMAT was established
in the year 1991 with seat in the village Metulje na Blokah.
Therefore we have the same foundation year as the independent
Slovenia. From the very beginning on we have put our main attention
to producing activities. In the beginning we manufactured insulations
for refrigerators, later we added also the production and sale
of boards for facade insulation to our program. In the year
1994 FRAGMAT moved to Sodražica and the production of refrigerator
insulations was complemented with the manufacturing of thermal
insulating refrigerator doors.
In the year 1996 with the purchase of a production program
for Styropor from the company IZOLIRKA in Ljubljana, FRAGMAT
became an important manufacturer for thermal insulations and
other products from STYROPOR, i.e. expanded polystyrene (EPS).
The company has continued its growth and expansion under the
name FRAGMAT IZOLIRKA. In the year 2004 we opened a production
unit for EPS in Kumanov (Macedonia), the following year in
Split (Croatia) and in the year 2006 in Gračanica (Bosnia
and Herzegovina).
In the year 2005 TIM Laško d.d. was incorporated into the
FRAGMAT-Group, together with the production unit for styropor
OKIPOR in Zagreb (Croatia), the production unit for bituminous
products and thermal insulating products from STYROPOR TIM
IZOLIRKA in Šid (Serbia) and the company IZOLIRKA with its
knowledge and industry.
Contemporary technology allows us to manufacture a broad
spectrum of products from expanded polystyrene (EPS) and bituminous
products for the construction industry, and with the EPS-packaging
program we are also present in other branches.
With the fusion of the companies and intense investment in
production equipment we opened up new possibilities to increase
sales on the markets of South-east Europe and beyond. Today
the company consists of 7 factories for STYROPOR, two of them
in Slovenia, the others abroad, and 2 factories for bituminous
hydroinsulation materials.
We are oriented towards export to nearer, but also to more
distant markets, with the clear vision of a leading manufacturer
of insulation material in South-east Europe. Much knowledge
and experience is put into new products. Apart from these
we are especially proud of our own high-quality products,
which undoubtedly shows the high satisfaction of our customers.
