Underlay membranes for paneled pitched-slope roofs
IZOSEK is made of a glass fleece reinforcement, which is completely impregnated with modified bitumen. On the upper side it has a talc-surfaced protection, on the bottom side a polypropylene fleece. It is used as underlay membrane in systems of ventilated pitched-slope roofs, or as temporary protection against moisture. It is put on paneled surfaces with 10 cm overlappings. It can also be used in roofs covered with bitumen shingles. In respect to its resistance to weather influences it can be exposed to weather influences for up to 3 months, but it must be adequately mechanically attached. The product is in accordance with DIN EN 13959/1 for type W1 and with SIST 1031.
